CamSur hosts immersion of rover scouts
The Province of Camarines Sur hosted the 12th National Rover Moot where rover scouts immersed themselves in Tinambac town through community service.
Rover Scouts conducted simultaneous community service for Barangay Old Caaluan.
“They started the event with the construction of 10 public comfort rooms and 2 nipa cottages,” the Camarines Sur government said.
Aside from community service, participants also learned about the honeybee production and built artificial beehives to help the livelihood of the residents.
“In addition, over 600 mangrove seedlings were planted today in the coastal area of the barangay,” the CamSur provincial government said.
The community service was held on Oct. 23 to 27.
