Brooke’s Point, Palawan Mayor Maryjean Feliciano has ordered employees from all departments of the city government unit to wear the national or traditional costumes of members of the Association of the Southeast Asian Nation.
According to the Philippine Information Agency, this will start this August until November.
This year, the Philippines serves as the chairman for the 30th Asean Summit.
Fun idea, mayor. UN day every Monday. Now, there’s another reason for the employees to get up early!
