Romblon Police seek more donations for Marawi troopers
The Provincial Police Office of Romblon asks for more donations for slain and wounded Marawi troopers who continue fighting against the Maute-Isis group in Marawi.
In their campaign dubbed “Support our troops,” the Romblon Police expressed their support and sympathy for the government, specifically for the soldiers trapped in the ongoing clashes.
The campaign was launched last week with the Romblon Provincial Police, private organizations, church groups joining a motorcade around the whole city of Romblon.
Quoting RomblonNews, Deputy Provincial Director for Administration Police Supt. Raquel Martinez said the money culled from the donation drive will be used to buy medicine, food supplies for the soldiers in Marawi.
