Legazpi Mayor Rosal receives P43-M medical supplies for city hospital


The Legazpi City Hospital in Albay moved one step closer to beginning operations after the City Government received the last batch of medical supply donations from World Medical Relief Incorporated (WMRI).

This was reported over the weekend by Legazpi Mayor Noel Rosal, who was in Makati City to receive the donations.

Specifically turned over to Rosal by WRMI Ambassador of Health Dr. Dave Zarate were two containers with P43 million worth of medical equipments and supplies .

The politiko said that this was the last two containers out of the six containers worth a total of P120 that was pledged by WRMI to Legazpi.

WRMI is a humanitarian relief agency based in Detroit, Michigan in the Untied States (US). It has a history of helping the Philippines throughout the years, like when Typhoon Yolanda struck the Visayas in 2013.

“Salamat sa ating mga kababayang volunteers sa detriot,usa,sila daw mismo tumulong pa sa pag karga sa mga containers,” added Rosal. #
