More than ever, women look up to Sorsogon Cong Escudero

Women deserve a strong leader who’s worthy of emulation. One such leader is Sorsogon 1st district Rep. Evelina Escudero, mother of Senator Chiz Escudero.
Earlier this month, “Nanay Evie” stood firm on her anti-death penalty stance even if it meant losing her chairmanship of the Committee on Basic Education at the House of Representatives (HOR). And lose her post, she did.
What she didn’t lose is the admiration of women’s groups, such as the Sorsogon Women’s Federation Inc. Recently, the Federation invited Escudero as their resource speaker at a local event celebrating National Women’s Month.
“It’s an honor to celebrate with you the National Women’s Month! Ipagados Ta An Kauswagan!” Nanay Evie wrote on her Facebook.
No, ma’am, the honor was theirs.
