Labo, CamNorte’s ‘bloated’ proposed executive budget hurdles committee level
The Municipal Council of Labo, Camarines Norte has approved at the committee level its proposed P270 million executive budget for the year 2017.
This was bared by Vice Mayor Severino Francisco Jr. in an interview over Brigada News FM Daet on Wednesday, December 7.
According to Francisco, they will soon tackle the executive budget in their regular session wherein it is expected to be passed swiftly.
Once it hurdles that, the proposed P270 budget will be submitted to the Provincial Council for final evaluation and approval.
The politiko admitted that the figure was “significantly higher” than the 2016 budget, but didn’t specify details.
Francisco said that the proposed amount included the 20 percent development fund of the local government.
