Sorsogon grad is midwife board topnotcher

A graduate of Estenias Science Foundation School in Casiguran, Sorsogon ended up being the topnotcher in the November 2016 Midwife Board Examinations.

Sorsogon Governor Robert Lee Rodrigueza took to Facebook to congratulate Maribel Doroja Sabenia, who garnered the highest rating of 90.10 percent.

It should be noted that Sabenia wasn’t the lone Bicolana on the list; in fact, the Top 10 had a total of three Region V entrants.

The other two are Sheila Berja Subion of Catanduanes State University and Kathrina Mae Rafael Endrano of Naga College Foundation.

Subion received a rating of 89.15 percent, which was good for fourth place. Meanwhile, Endrano was sixth with a score of 89.05 percent.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said that 1,572 out of 3,085 examinees passed the Midwife Board Exams. #
