Wimpy Fuentebella takes over as DOE mouthpiece

Former Camarines Sur congressman Wimpy Fuentebella is now the new voice of the Department of Energy (DOE).

This, after Fuentebella was appointed Energy undersecretary and spokesman. He was sworn in by DOE Secretary Alfonso Cusi last September 19.

Undersecretary Fuentebella’s father, current Camarines Sur 4th district Rep. Noli Fuentebella, proudly shared the news on his Facebook.

“Usec. Wimpy shall be the DOE’s link to the public in the pursuit of its commitment to ensure reliable, stable, sustainable, secure & reasonably-priced energy to the country,” the elder Fuentebella wrote.

Wimpy was a House of Representatives (HOR) member during the 16th Congress.

He also formerly served as deputy secretary general of the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB) during the previous Aquino administration.
