Camarines Sur PCL elects new prexy in Jorge Bengua


Former Liga ng mga Barangay Provincial Federation President Jorge Bengua is Camarines Sur’s new Philippine Councilors’ League (PCL) president.

Bengua received 187 votes compared to the 134 votes of his rival, Giovanni “Bani” Señar.

The election of PCL officers took place at Villa Caceres in Bicol’s independent component city of Naga.

A Bicol Standard report on September 20 (Tuesday) bared that Señar conceded defeat to Bengua even before the participating municipal councilors cast their votes.

Bengua and Señar are both from first-class municipalities in Camarines Sur; the former is from Pasacao while the latter hails from Ragay.
