Edgardo Tallado, Camarines Norte hosts ‘father’ of federalism movement

If you’re going to learn about the application of federalism in the Philippines, learn from the “father” of it.

That’s no one else but former Senate President Aquino “Nene” Pimentel Jr., who as early as 2001 had been advocating a switch to federalism.

“Maraming Salamat po Former Senate President Aquilino Nene Pimentel sa pagdalo sa aming lalawigan para sa Symposium on Federalism,” wrote Camarines Norte Governor Edgardo Tallado on his Facebook.

In that regard, Camarines Norte folk were certainly educated by the best.
