Cesar Sarmiento leads fellow tree-lovers in activity
Everybody in Catanduanes seem to understand the importance of trees.
This explains the huge turnout of volunteers during the tree-planting activity led by Catanduanes Rep. Cesar Sarmiento at Buenavista in the town of Bato.
People from various government agencies as well as members of the Philippine army, media and non-government organizations all got their hands dirty for the worthy cause.
“A 3 yr. old boy, Christian Jacob Bunao, is the youngest planter during the activity,” Sarmiento wrote. That bodes well for the province, don’t you think?
