Fiesta causes closure of parts of Camarines Sur road

Activities related to a fiesta have prompted the closure of parts of the Baao-Iriga City-Nabua Road in Camarines Sur on Aug. 22 and 23, the Department of Public Works and Highways said.
The DPWH said the closure will cover the part of the road at Rizal Street from Barangay Nicolas to Barangay del Rosario in Baao, due to the 426th founding anniversary and town fiesta.
It said affected motorists and commuters going to and from Legazpi City and Naga City may take San Francisco Barangay Road – DM Diversion Road.
Last Aug. 13, the part of the road was also closed from 4 to 7 p.m.
For Aug. 22, the schedule of temporary intermittent closure will be between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. For Aug. 23, the closure will be from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
