AKO-Bicol party-list Rep. Rodel Batocabe emphasized his stance on which to prioritize between climate change and industrialization in the country.

This, after President Rodrigo Duterte made a reference to both during his first State of the Nation Address (SONA).

“We address climate change first,” tweeted Batocabe, who shared Duterte’s quote on striking a balance between climate change mitigation and furthering industrial growth.

Batocabe was chair of the Committee on Climate Change during the previous 16th Congress.
