P2.13 million shabu dug up near acacia tree in Catanduanes

Police dug up and seized Thursday some P2.13 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) buried beside an acacia tree in Catanduanes.
Catanduanes police considered this their biggest accomplishment of the provincial police since President Rodrigo Duterte’s all-out war against drugs started.
The shabu in 71 plastic bags, each valued at P30,000 and totaling P2.13 million, was dug up in the house of Eusebio in Barangay Balangonan in Pandan town.
Reports quoted provincial police head Senior Superintendent Jesus Martirez as saying the drugs were found following a confession from drug personality Randy Eusebio, who was arrested last July 11.
Martirez said Eusebio even sketched the area where the bags of shabu were buried.
