DOH logs 182 new COVID-19 cases in Bicol

One hundred eighty-two new COVID-19 infections were logged in Bicol, pushing the region’s total caseload to 47,272.

Active cases as of January 6 are now at 2,209.

The distribution of newly reported cases is as follows:

The DOH said the details of newly reported cases are forwarded to concerned Provincial/City/Hospital Epidemiology and Surveillance Units (ESUs) and LGUs.

The health department did not report any new recoveries, which still currently at 43,064.

The DOH also logged zero additional deaths. Fatality count is now at 1,999.

“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” said the DOH.
