One COVID-19 case logged in Bicol
The Department of Health has recorded just one COVID-19 case in Bicol on December 15.
The latest case was recorded in Bombon, Camarines Sur. Cumulative cases in the region are now at 46,757, with 3,285 active cases.
The DOH also logged 27 new recoveries to push the total number recoveries 41,564.
Meanwhile, the death toll also rose to 1,908 after four new patients succumbed to the dreaded disease.
According to the DOH, the report does not reflect the actual date of deaths. “Report of deaths are based on validated reports with death certificates,” said the department.
“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” said the DOH.
