Gov Villafuerte leads Christmas Village lighting
Camarines Sur Governor Migz Villafuerte has spearheaded the lighting of a Christmas Village in the province as he stressed the hope that this season brings.
“Simple lang ang mensahe ng ating Christmas Village—na sa Probinsya ng Camarines Sur, may liwanag, may pag-asa,” said Villafuerte.
The governor also highlighted the lower COVID-19 cases in the province.
“As of posting, sa dalawang milyong populasyon ng Camsur, we now only have 49 active cases,” he said.
“We peaked last August with 3000+ active cases since the pandemic started, at kahapon nga po December 4, pangalawang araw na tayo’y nakapagtala ng 0/zero new positive case’, he added.
But Villafuerte also called on CamSur residents to not let their guard down.
“Ngunit wag po tayo pakampante, patuloy na mag-ingat, practice minimum health standards, mag-social distancing, magsuot ng masks, magdisinfect ng kamay, at magpabakuna,” he said.
“Padagos kitang magkasararo, magtarabangan. Tapuson ta na an COVID-19 pandemic para an Camarines Sur, will build back better,” he added.
