A ray of hope! Tabaco’s Lagman backs Robredo’s presidential bid

Tabaco City Mayor Krisel Lagman has declared her full support for the presidential candidacy of Vice President Leni Robredo, whom she described as a “ray of hope.”

Lagman said that has always been a “reliable and competent leader, a ray of hope, the picture of composure, and the voice of reason in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic that has crippled our nation and devastated lives and livelihoods.”

The mayor said that Robredo has accomplished so much to help the needy in these trying times without resorting to “strong-arm tactics or fearmongering.”

“We need a leader who will not only lead but will also listen. We need a leader who does not wield an iron fist but offers a compassionate helping hand. We need a leader who unites, rather than divides,” said Lagman.

“We need a leader who is trustworthy and true to her word and not one who is deceitful, regularly spreads lies, and defames others, including God,” she added.

Lagman-Luistro also said that the country needs a compassionate, sincere, pro-active,upright, purposeful, and decisive leader like Robredo.

“Leni Robredo has my full support.”
