Total COVID-19 cases in Bicol now over 36,000

The total coronavirus disease cases in Bicol have climbed to 36,029 after the DOH logged 274 new cases.

Active cases as of September 26 are now at 11,290, representing 31.34% of the total cases.

The distribution of newly reported cases is as follows:

The department also logged 99 new recoveries to push the total to 23,653.

Six more patients succumbed to COVID-19, to bring the death toll in Region V to 1,086.

“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” the DOH said.
