Marinduque Governor Presbitero Velasco said that the province received its first batch of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines, along side with another 10,000 doses of Sinovac.

The governor said that Provincial Administrator Mike Velasco as well as DOH representatives led by Dr. Rachel Garcia at Rino Labay welcomed the arrival of these vaccines.

“Naiturn-over na din ito sa Provincial Health Office at tinanggap ni Dr. Gerry Caballes na siyang mangunguna sa pamamahagi sa iba’t ibang bayan,” said Velasco.

The governor also thanked Speaker Lord Allan Velasco for assisting the secure more COVID-19 vaccines from the national government.
