106 new coronavirus infections confirmed in Bicol

The Department of Health has reported 106 new coronavirus disease cases in Bicol, pushing the region’s total to 20,270.

Active cases as of July 20 stood at 3,398, representing 16.76%.

The distribution of newly reported cases is as follows:

The DOH said the details of newly reported cases are forwarded to concerned Provincial/City/Hospital Epidemiology and Surveillance Units (ESUs) and LGUs.

It added that releasing of personal information of patients is governed by the provisions of the Data Privacy Act (R.A. 10173).

Meanwhile, 50 patients have recovered from the disease. Total recoveries are now at 16,110.

Meanwhile, six individuals succumbed to the disease, bringing the death toll to 762.
