Riding bicycles has become a popular activity amid the pandemic, but Odiongan Mayor Trina Fabic has a reminder to them: make sure you follow the rules.

In a Facebook post, Fabic said she knows that cycling is good for people’s health.

But cyclists must make sure they wear their face masks.

They could pull these down if they’re having difficulty breathing, but they should put them back if they’re talking with another person or are stopping by a store.

She also said they do not have to be in big groups when they are out on the road.

Under local rules, only two to three persons can go cycling together, she said.

Moreover, they should not go past checkpoints and must stay on the right side of the road as a courtesy to other vehicles, and for their own safety, she said.

Use your bicycles responsibly!

Mag face mask kayo. Pdeng ibaba kung nahirapan habang nagbibiskleta. Pero the moment na tumigil kayo at nakikipag usap sa kasama ninyo, o bibili kayo sa tindahan, dapat naka mask na kayo. Maging responsable tayo.

As per latest EO, 2 to 3 persons maximum ang pwede mag bisikleta ng magkakasama, mas maganda kung of the same household.

Stay at the right side of the road.
