The COVID-19 pandemic is still raging and cases continue to be recorded, so Odiongan Mayor Trina Fabic is appealing to the public to continue to be vigilant against the coronavirus.

In a Facebook post, Fabic noted that there are still COVID-19 cases in town and nearby areas.

People must continue to wear their face masks and face shields properly, use alcohol, and maintain physical distancing for their own and for other people’s protection.

She advised them to avoid eating together if they are not from the same household, as this contributes to infections.

They should also avoid parties and just celebrate with people from their household.

Otherwise, all their efforts to curb the COVID-19 cases may be for naught, she warned.

The country has been battling the pandemic for more than a year.

Let’s not waste our gains!
