Style bulok! Iriga Mayor Madel Alfelor asks voters if they still want to be bought
It looks like Iriga Mayor Madel Alfelor has had enough of trapo ways.
In a Facebook post, Alfelor shared her sadness about how democracy is being exploited.
She invoked the words of former Sen. Ninoy Aquino Jr., who said bad leaders “poor the people,” “rob the people” and “buy the people.”
She noted that some people are bought with P500 and rice.
But she asked if this is what they really want.
This has been going on for decades, and she hopes they will think about such ways.
There’s still time to change for the better, right?
“THE ESSENCE OF DEMOCRACY from A MACHIAVELLI/NARCISSISM PERSPECTIVE…. FROM SEN NINOY AQUINO…..
YOU POOR THE PEOPLE, YOU ROB THE PEOPLE and YOU BUY THE PEOPLE
500 pesos then bigas, 1k pesos may tatlong ulo, yan po ba ang gusto natin? Simula noon hangang ngayon? Dekada na po yang style na yan mag isip isip na din po tayo…
