Dolor seeks balance between economy, public health in fight vs COVID-19
Oriental Mindoro Governor Humerlito Dolor said that the provincial government seeks to strike a balance between helping the local economy thrive and protect the health of the Mindorenos to boost its pandemic response.
Dolor seeks to come up with a unified COVID-190 guidelines in accordance with the policy issued by the National IATF-MEID.
In line with this, the governor held consultation meetings with concerned stakeholders in order to seek their suggestions and comments.
Dolor also asked his fellow local leaders to set aside politics and be united in fighting COVID-19.
“We have to do something… One policy the whole province…Walang LGU na maaaring gumawa ng sariling polisiya. If the City Government of Calapan can follow, how much more our Municipalities… I- set aside muna natin ang partisan politics…,” he said.
Meanwhile, Dolor is set to issue the final executive order on April 10, Saturday.
