VP Robredo continues to marvel over the generosity of ordinary Filipinos
A year into the pandemic, Vice President Leni Robredo continues to be amazed at the goodness of ordinary Filipinos.
On Facebook, Robredo shared a one year old post where an OFW, Fe Cunanan, offered to share her food allowance to the people who need help amid the pandemic.
She was proud of people like Cunanan who do not hesitate to share whatever they have.
Cunanan is not alone in her generosity, as there are many OFWs who are willing to share even if they only get a little, she said.
Her office has also tapped the members of indigent communities to cook for others, and this also enables them to earn money.
She has since learned that these cooks also share their earnings to people who want to help.
The kindness and generosity of the Filipino has really been evident, she said.
While the country’s response to the health crisis may not be the best, the pandemic has brought out the best in Filipinos!
“Reposting this here from one year ago.
This pandemic has truly brought out the kindness and generosity of the Filipino spirit,” Robredo posted.
