Marinduque Governor Presbitero Velasco personally witnessed the arrival of coronavirus vaccines in the province yesterday.

The governor described the arrival of the COVID-19 vaccines as “historic” as Marinduque became one of the first provinces to receive the coveted jabs.

Also present during the event were Provincial DOH Officer Dra. Rachel Rowena Garcia, PCOL Wilson Santos VI of Marinduque PPO, Dr. Gerry Caballes from the Provincial Health Office as well as CAAP and Coast Guard representatives.

Velasco also urged his constituents to get a vaccine once it is readily available for masses to protect themselves from the deadly virus.

Ang nakikita nating paraan ay pagbabakuna,” said the governor.
