COVID-19 vaccine plan rolled out in Bicol Region
The COVID-19 vaccination plan has been rolled out today, March 5, in Bicol Region.
Simultaneous roll out of COVID-19 vaccination at Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital (BRTTH) and Bicol Medical Center (BMC) was conducted today.
The DOH-Bicol said that the first three vaccinees of BRTTH wereDr. Edberto General, Head of Internal Medicine Department; Dr. Anna Lynda Bellen, Infectious Disease Specialist; and Dr. Raoul Emmanuel Zantua, Out Patient Department head.
For BMC the first vaccinees are Dr. Rey Millena, Provincial DOH Officer of Camarines Sur; Dr. Mary Jane Uy, Chief of Medical Professional Staff; Dr. Giovanni Getulio Zenarosa from the Medical Staff Organization; and Ms. Wilhelmina De Castro, one of the heads of the nursing division.
“A total of 1,200 vials of the 1st dose of CoronaVac were received by the BRTTH, while 600 were delivered to BMC,” the DOH-Bicol sai.
Meanwhile, the NICC Doctors Hospital in Naga City also started its vaccination this morning.
On the afternoon, the Bicol Regional General Hospital and Geriatric Medical Center in Cabusao, Camarines Sur is scheduled to roll out its COVID -19 vaccination.
The Sinovac’s COVID-19 vaccines arrived in the region yesterday, March 4.
