Inbound travelers to Palawan required to present negative RT-PCR test

The Palawan province requires a negative RT-PCR test results for inbound travelers pursuant to an executive order isused by Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez.

“Tanging RT-PCR test na may negatibong resulta sa loob ng 72 oras ang tanging kinakailangan na lamang ng mga inbound travellers para makabiyahe patungo sa lalawigan ng Palawan.

Alvarez issued the Executive Order No. 50 series of 2021 yesterday, March 2.

“Sa kautusan, ‘mandatory’ ang RT-PCR test na may negatibong resulta sa lahat ng mga inbound travellers na tutungo sa mga munisipyo maliban sa mga Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR) na nakasaad sa IATF Resolution No. 98-A na inilabas noong February 4, 2021,” said the province.

“Ang mga APOR mula sa national government agencies ay kinakailangan pa ring magpakita ng ID, travel order at travel itinerary,” it added.

Under the EO, only inbound travellers with COVID-19 symptoms will be required to undergo quarantine.

“Hindi na rin kailangan ang travel authority at health certificate,” said the province.

“Ang mga turista naman ay kinakailangan pa ring magpakita ng proof of confirmed booking sa LGU o DOT accredited accomodation establishment, return flight ticket, confirmed itinerary from an LGU licensed/DOT accredited travel and tour operator,” it added.
