23 new COVID-19 cases reported in Sorsogon

Sorsogon has recorded 23 new coronavirus disease cases, the highest single-day increase ever recorded in the province.

Governor Chiz Escudero identified the patients as: Andrew Lasala Japson; Gerose Febrero Burce; Helen Grace Pura Dongsao; Megan Bon Opemia; Lorna De La Peña Logronio; Alyxcyz May Ortañez Serviño; Arnel Jazmin Lagonoy; Alfred Sanrex Jeresano Estornino; Domingo Habitan Diaz Jr; Megan Esperanzate Fidelson; Karen Mae Dioneda Luces; Alexander Ladip Billodo; Hermogenes Salalima Matienzo III; Joel Lorin Rosare; Maria Rubine Baleza Nava; Dolores Venus Guerrero; Lyndon Aguilar Carranza Jr; Christine Mae Araña Belolo; Genevieve Frayna Embile; Luzviminda Abanilla Anda; Diana David Bautista; Jhon Joven Ramos Turo; and Mary Grace Deputo Ditan.

“Sina Belolo,Burce, Fidelson, Dongsao, Luces, Opemia, Serviño, Estornino at Diaz na nakarehistro bilang Bicol Patient No. 4773,4774, 4775, 4776, 4777, 4779, 4783, 4787 at 4788 ay mga healthcare worker ng isang pribadong ospital, samantalang si Ditan na nakarehistro bilang Bicol Patient No. 4767 ay healthcare worker ng RHU-Prieto Diaz,” said the Capitol.

“Sina Nava at Guerrero na nakarehistro bilang Bicol Patient No. 4771 at 4772 ay parehong close contact ni Bicol Patient No. 4706, samantalang si Anda na nakarehistro bilang Bicol Patient No. 4770 ay close contact naman ni Bicol. Patient No. 4757,” it added.

It continued: “Sina Turo, Japson at Embile na nakarehistro bilang Bicol Patient No. 4768, 4769 at 4789 ay may travel history mula sa National Capital Region.”

While Carranza, Bautista, Logronio, Rosare, Lagonoy and Billodo are registered as Bicol Patient No. 4766, 4778, 4782, 4784, 4785 and 4786.

“Pinahintulutan nang makauwi sa kani-kanilang mga tahanan sina Violeta D. Divina, 68 taong gulang ng San Ramon, Bacon sa lungsod ng Sorsogon at Nenita D. Eleuterio, 52 taong gulang ng Gogon sa bayan ng Prieto Diaz,” said the capitol.
