Albay Vice Governor Edcel Grex Lagman said that the Libon’s Pantao International Port will soon become an “economic hub” in Bicol Region.

“Makaogma an bonding moment ko ngoniang aldaw with Libon officials led by Mayor Das Maronilla, VM Markgregor Edward Sayson and municipal councilors,” said the Vice Governor.

“Very happy to see how Libon’s Pantao International Port will soon be the economic hub of Region V as well as the gateway to and from the west coast of Albay as well as the neighboring island provinces of Masbate, Cebu, Bohol et al,” he added.

Lagman also said that the Provincial Government really poured in support to make the port come into fruition.

“The Provincial Government of Albay (PGA) through the leadership of Gov. Al Francis C. “An costa kan Albay will be an economic driver that will create jobs and opportunities for Albayanos and spur intra-regional and inter-island economic activity,” he added.
