Rep. Tallado turns over P1.5M financial assistance to three CamNorte LGUs

Camarines Norte Rep. Josie Tallado has distributed financial aid from the Social Welfare department to three local government units in her district amounting to P1.5 million.

The towns of Labo, Jose Panganiban, and Paracale received P500,000 each as part of DSWD’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) proram.

“Unang tinungo ni Cong. Josie Baning Tallado ang munisipyo ng Labo at iniabot nito ang tseke kay Vice Mayor Dindo Pardo. Kasunod, ang munisipyo ng Jose Panganiban na tinanggap naman ni Vice Mayor Diday Abaño kasama si Mrs. Belinda Luceña, MSWDO-Jpang. Huli, ang munisipyo ng Paracale, at mainit na tinanggap si Cong. Tallado ni Mayor Romeo Moreno at Vice Mayor Bernadette Asutilla, sabay pasasalamat sa tulong na ipinagkaloob para sa kanilang bayan,” Tallado’s office said.

“Ang kabuuang pondo na nagkakahalagang Php2.5 milyon ay inilaan ni Cong. Josie Baning Tallado para sa 5 bayan ay nanggaling mula kay House Speaker Lord Velasco upang maging tulong nito sa mga nasalanta ng nakalipas na bagyong Ulysses na naranasan ng Camarines Norte,” it added.

Tallado also recently visited all the towns in her district to provide assistance to the “poorest of the poor” who were affected by recent calamities. A total of 3,166 beneficiaries received P3,000 financial assistance.

“Walang bahid ng pulitika, pantay-pantay ang aking pagtingin upang makahatid ng tulong para sa limang (5) bayang aking nasasakupang Distrito”, said Cong. Tallado.

TAllado also thanked Speaker Lord Allan Velasco and other members of the House for their support to the first district of Camarines Norte.

“Sa susunod na araw, tutunguhin naman ni Cong. Tallado ang munisipyo ng Capalonga at Sta. Elena upang ihatid ang nasabing tulong pinansyal,” said the solon’s office.
