Bicol Region records 32 new COVID-19 cases

The Department of Health Center for Health and Development reported 32 new coronavirus disease cases in the Bicol Region as of January 11.

The latest cases pushed the region’s total to 3,838. There are 461 active cases.

The distribution of newly reported cases:

ALBAY: 2* (6.25%)
2 – Guinobatan

CAM SUR: 2 (6.25%)
2 – Goa

MASBATE: 28* (87.5%)
7 – Milagros
6 – Palanas
4 – Masbate City
2 – Baleno
2 – Balud
2 – San Jacinto
2 – Uson
1 – Mobo
1 – Pio V. Corpuz
1 – Placer

The DOH said that the details of newly reported cases are forwarded to concerned Provincial/City/Hospital Epidemiology and Surveillance Units (ESUs) and LGUs.

Meanwhile, Bicol Region reported 33 new recoveries as of yesterday. Death toll remains 166.

“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” said the department.

“Let us follow the BIDA Solusyon sa COVID-19 para sa Serbisyong Salud Bikolnon,” it added.
