Naujan Mayor Mark Marcos’ wife still finds use for old cooler and palanggana

Naujan Mayor Mark Marcos’ wife like to recycle stuff, and it’s not limited to plastic bags and containers.

Marcos has learned why his wife refuses to throw away their old cooler and old washbasins.

In an Facebook post, Marcos said he had suggested that they throw away these old things when he found them while cleaning the house.

But his wife told him to leave the things alone as she has use for them.

The old washbasins can be used for cultivating mustasa or petchay, while the old cooler could be a container for old bottles so that these would not be a breeding ground for mosquitoes, she told him.

She makes sense, he said.

Good thing he listens to his practical wife!
