Ready to help! PH Navy sends rescue team in CamSur


The Philippine Navy has dispatched rescue teams in Camarines Sur today in the aftermath of Typhoon Ulysses.

“Due to the inclement weather brought by Typhoon ‘Ulysses’, the Philippine Navy through the Naval Special Operations Unit-3 (NAVSOU-3), conducted rescue operations at Brgy. Sta Barbara, Nabua, Camarines Sur, earlier today, November 12,” Philippine Navy said.

NAVSOU-3 led by Lt. Jaymar Jason, rescued four people in the Nabua town of Camarines Sur who suffocated by generator smoke inside their house.

“The team revived one person who passed out for several time, she stabilized after being turned-over to the city ambulance,” Navy said.

The Philippine Navy said that NAVSOU-3 is part of the DRRTs deployed by the Naval Forces Southern Luzon in Camarines Sur to help government agencies aid the affected communities of this another calamity.

“The Navy always stands ready to give necessary assistance and services to the Filipino people especially in times of disasters, calamities, and emergencies through its fully-equipped and deployable DRRTs,” it said.
