Mayor Panaligan graces graduation of farmer students


Calapan City Mayor Arnan C. Panaligan attended the joint graduation of four batches of farmer students.

The graduates are from the Farmers Field School on Production of Inbred Seeds, Seed Certification and Farm Mechanization sponsored by the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in coordination with the City Agricultural Services Department.

The farmer graduates totalling 99 came from Calapan City and the Municipality of Naujan.

According to the mayor’s office, the graduation was held at Lasquety Farm at the boundary of Bgy. Comunal in Calapan City and Bgy. Del Pilar in Naujan.

Aside from Panaligan, also in attendance were Mr. Pat Andrew
Barrientos of ATI, Mr. Joel Pilotin, TESDA provincial director, City Agriculturist Lorelein Sevilla and City Councilors Mylene de Jesus and Charles Pansoy.
