Palawan Rescue 165 brings services to Palaweños in Bataraza

Upon the order of Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez, the Palawan Rescue 165 Operation Center in Rio Tuba, Bataraza has provided service to the Palaweños recently.

The said rescue center was just launched last October 16.

“Ayon kay Palawan Rescue 165 Program Manager Richristopher Magbanua, ito na ang pang labing tatlong operation center ng programa na may layuning makapagbigay ng mga serbisyo sa mga mamamayan tulad ng ambulance transport, emergency response, disaster response, standby medical team at libreng blood pressure monitoring,” the Capitol said.

“Aniya, napakahalaga ng pagkakaroon ng operation center sa naturang lugar dahil hindi lamang ang mga kalapit na barangay ng Bataraza ang maaaring maging benepisyaryo nito kundi maging ang mga residente ng island barangays ng bayan ng Balabac tulad ng Mangsee at Buliluyan gayundin ang Bgy. Panalingaan sa bayan ng Rizal,” it added.

Through the program, transport of patients to Southern Palawan Provincial Hospital (SPPH) in Brooke’s Point or even in Puerto Princesa will now be easier and faster.

“Ang operation center ay equipped ng isang ambulance at medical personnels” said Magbanua.

Currently, there are Palawan Rescue 165 has operation centers in Aborlan and West Coast area, Narra, Quezon, Brooke’s Point, Puerto Princesa, Roxas, San Vicente, Dumaran, Taytay, El Nido and Busunga.
