Oriental Mindoro Gov. Bonz Dolor is proud to be Mangyan, and he is grateful to be recognized for his work to help them.

In a Facebook post, Dolor thanked the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples Mimaropa region for giving him an award for his programs to help the indigenous people in his province.

These include the establishment of the Mangyan Affairs Office and his appointment of an indigenous people’s representative in each office in the province.

This is to ensure that the needs of the indigenous peoples are met.

The award was given this month, which is Indigenous Peoples Month.

Well-deserved!

“Maraming Salamat National Commission on Indigenous Peoples MIMAROPA Region!
