The lack of electricity did not prevent Marinduque Vice Gov. Romulo Bacorro Jr. from carrying out his outreach program that included operating on people.

Bacorro, who is also a doctor, operated on people with a battery-operated flashlight as the light source.

In a Facebook post, the thanked the sponsors who provided the superlight, as well as medicines and personal protective equipment.

He also said his team was able to distribute canes and reading glasses to senior citizens.

Despite the whole day activity, he felt good, he said.

Helping others has a way of keeping the tiredness at bay!
