Interns under DOLE’s program start work, CamNorte Rep. Tallado says

Camarines Norte Rep. Josie Tallado has led the orientation for the first batch of the beneficiaries for the Government Internship Program at the Legislative District Office, Anahaw, Labo.

The said program came into reality through the partnership of the Department of Labor and Employment and Tallado’s office.

“Ang 92 na mga benepisyaryo ng Department of Labor and Employment Government Internship Program (DOLE-GIP) ay lumagda na sa kanilang kontrata at nagsimula na ring magtrabaho sa kanilang internship opportunity nitong araw ng Miyerkules (September 16, 2020),” Tallado’s office said.

“Layunin n programang ito na mapalakas ang kasanayan ng mga kabataang graduate sa tulong ng pagsasanay sa kanila sa serbisyo sa pamahalaan. Karamihan sa mga natanggap na GIP ay itinalaga sa frontline at technical support services,” it added.

Also part of the DOLE’s program were various government agencies from the executive, legislative and judiciary, both in regional and national level, Public Employment Service Offices (PESOs), public hospital and public school or educational institutions, government financial institutions, government-owned and controlled corporations, and local government units.

“Tatagal ng 66 na araw magtratrabaho ang 92 intern sa ibang mga ahensya ng pambansang pamahalaan at mga munisipalidad sa loob ng 1st District,” Tallado’s office said.

Meanwhile, the interns will receive P310 per day based on the salary fixed under the program.They will also receive insurance coverage from the Government Service Insurance System.
