COVID-19 cases in Bicol now at 1,537

The Department of Health recorded 26 new coronavirus disease cases in Bicol region yesterday, bringing the total tally to 1,537.

Active cases in Bicol are now 548, representing 35.67% of the total cases.

Distribution of Newly Reported Cases is as follows.

ALBAY: 7 (26.92%)
– Daraga – 4
– Legazpi City – 3

CAM SUR: 11 (42.31%)
– Baao – 1
– Camaligan – 2
– Milaor – 3
– Minalabac – 1
– Pili – 1
– Naga City – 3

CATANDUANES: 4 (15.38%)
– Virac – 3
– San Miguel – 1

SORSOGON: 4 (15.38%)
– Pilar – 3
– Donsol – 1

The Health department also reported 2 new deaths. Death toll due to the virus is now 54.

“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” said the DOH Bicol.

The DOH also encouraged the public to follow BIDA Solusyon sa COVID-19 para sa Serbisyong Salud Bikolnon.
