Bicol’s COVID-19 cases reach 1,363

The coronavirus disease cases in Bicol Region has climbed to a total of 1,363 as of September 1.

This, after the Department of Health reported 64 new cases last night. Active cases are now 619.

The distribution of 64 new cases by Province/Municipality/City are as follows:

Meanwhile, only one recovery was recorded yesterday. The patient is identified as Bicol #810. Total recoveries are 699.

Two new deaths were recorded yesterday- Bicol#1297, a 48-year-old female from Naga City, and Bicol#1298, a 77-year-old female from Calabanga, Camarines Sur.

Death toll in Bicol due to COVID-19 is now 45

“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” said the DOH.
