Amid the pandemic, Albay Gov. Al Francis Bichara wants to keep the duck and chicken population in the province growing.

Bichara, with the help of the Albay Veterinary Office, distributed feeds to the farmers of Oas and Polangui to help them raise their poultry, he said in a Facebook post.

He said he wants farmers to keep on raising free-range chicken and ducks for the people’s food and livelihood.

The farmers would also join online trainings to improve their skills on duck raising, he said.

Balut and fried chicken, anyone?
