Naujan Mayor Mark Marcos lauds low-interest loans for farmers
Even before the pandemic struck, many farmers have been struggling to survive and the current health crisis has only made things worse for them.
This could be why Naujan Mayor Mark Marcos was happy that the farmers in his town were able to avail themselves of a P25,000 loan with preferential terms.
In a Facebook post, Marcos said the loans were from the Department of Agriculture’s program to aid farmers amid the COVID 19 pandemic.
The loans are interest free and are payable in 10 years, he said.
Let us help farmers help themselves!
