Future plantitos and plantitas? Albay Gov. Al Francis Bichara encourages children to plant veggies
The fight against COVID 19 needs discipline, but we need the help of a few gadgets as well.
It looks like Albay Gov. Al Francis Bichara may be cultivating the next generation of plantitos and plantitas.
The provincial government distributed garden inputs for the province’s program to plant vegetables in schools and homes, Bichara’s Facebook page announced.
The program aims to encourage communities throughout Albay to practice organic agriculture and recognize and appreciate our food producers.
It is conducted in cooperation with the Department of Education and Albay Provincial Agricultural Office.
Through this endeavor, the community will not only be greener, they will be able to grow their own food as well!
