Bicol’s COVID-19 cases climb to 432

The Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) – Bicol recorded nine new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the region last night.

The total number of COVID-19 cases recorded in Bicol Region is now 432. Active cases are 259.

Of the 9 new cases, five are from Albay (2 Tabaco City, 2 Legazpi City, 1 Ligao City ) while one each for Catanduanes, Masbate, Camarines Sur, and Naga City.

The breakdown is as follows:

Bicol#424 (Security Guard) – 21 – M – Caramoran, Catanduanes – Onset of Illness: July 22, 2020 – Las Piñas (July 20, 2020) – Quarantined

Bicol#425 (Housewife) – 42 – F – Masbate City- Asymptomatic – Quezon City (July 12, 2020) – Quarantined

Bicol#426 – 5 – M – Naga City – Asymptomatic – Exposed to Bicol#336 – Quarantined

Bicol#427 – 47 – M – Iriga City, Cam Sur – Asymptomatic – Malate (July 21, 2020) – Quarantined

Bicol#428 (Medical Lab Tech) – 34 – M – Legazpi City,
Albay – Onset of Illness: July 24, 2020 – Exposed to Bicol#342 – Quarantined

Bicol#429 – 73 – F – Tabaco City, Albay – History of Exposure & Onset of Illness: For verification – Quarantined

Bicol#430 (Project Devt Officer) – 31 – M – Tabaco City, Albay – Asymptomatic – Exposed to Bicol#329 – Quarantined

Bicol#431 (Brgy. Tanod) – 54 – M – Ligao City, Albay – Asymptomatic – Makati City (For verification) – Quarantined

Bicol#432 – 8 – M – Legazpi City, Albay – Asymptomatic – Muntinlupa City (July 21, 2020) – Quarantined

“Releasing of other details about the said patients is at the discretion of the Local Government Units (LGUs) concerned guided by the provisions of the Data Privacy Act,” the DOH said.
