Palawan Governor Jose Ch. Alvarez spearheaded the inauguration of the new San Vicente District Hospital last July 28 together with the local officials of the said town.

Joining Alvarez were Mayor Amy Roa Alvarez, local officials of LGU San. Vicente, and epresentatives from the Department of Health.

Meanwhile, Department of Health Assistant Secretary Dr. Maria Francia Laxamana, DOH Regional Director Dr. Mario Baquilod and CHD MIMAROPA Licensing Officer Dr. Antonette Dimaano gave their messages virtually.

“Nakikita namin ang aktibong pagtugon ng Provincial Government sa mga mamamayan through their efforts in terms of providing health facilities and services… Itong pagbubukas ng San Vicente District Hospital ay talagang makakatulong sa mga mamamayan diyan and we are really looking forward for more hospitals na bubuksan diyan sa Palawan… “, said ASEC. Dr. Laxamana.

Also present during the activity was Cong. Mikee Romero of the 1 Pacman Partylist, who donated hospital beds and health equipment.

The new hospital costs more than P175 million.
