Three new COVID-19 cases reported in CamSur

Three new coronavirus cases were recorded yesterday in Camarines Sur, the Department of Health Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) – Bicol reported.

The total number of COVID-19 cases recorded in Bicol Region is now two 278 while active cases 151.

The list of new cases is as follows:

• Bicol#276 – a 58-year old Filipino female from Sipocot, Camarines Sur. Her date of arrival from Laguna is for verification. She is asymptomatic and is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility.

• Bicol#277 – a 25-year old Filipino male from Bula, Camarines Sur. His date of arrival from Tondo, Manila is for verification. He is asymptomatic and is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility.

• Bicol#278 – a 25-year old Filipino male from Sagñay, Camarines Sur. His date of arrival from Tondo, Manila is for verification. He is asymptomatic and is quarantined at an LGU quarantine facility.

The municipalities of Bula and Sagñay records its first case.

Meanwhile, the DOH appealed to the public to follow health protocols amid the rising cases of COVID-19 in the region.

“The public especially the Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs), Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) and close contacts of confirmed COVID-19 cases must strictly follow quarantine and isolation procedures. Stay calm,” the DOH said.

“Everyone must follow all the health protocols such as social distancing, use of facemask especially when outdoors, hand washing, cough etiquette, healthy lifestyle and to stay at home. Cooperation and discipline from the public are crucial at this time of crisis,” it added.
