The new Executive-Legislative Building of Bongabong town in Oriental Minodoro was inaugurated recently by high ranking local government officials of the province.

The inauguration of the new building was also marked by the 60th birthday of Bongabong Mayor Elgin A. Malaluan. The project costs P33 million.

The activity was graced by Governor Humerlito ‘Bonz’ Dolor, Vice Governor CA Jojo Perez and the provincial Board Members.

Also in attendance were 1st District Representative Salvador ‘Dhoi’ Leachon, 2nd District Congressman Alfonso ‘Boy’ Umali, A Teacher Party List Representative Bing Umali, Southern Luzon Command Major General Antonio Parlade, Jr. as well as members of the military.

Mayor Totoy Maliwanag of Mansalay, Mayor Leo Cusi of Roxas and Mayor Ernilo Villas of Bulalacao were also present.

In his speech, Gov. Dolor hailed Mayor Elgin for his hardwork and dedication to his duty.

Meanwhile, part of the event was the unveiling of the portraits of former local chief executives of Bongabong town.
