CamNorte Rep. Tallado: 189 workers in Paracale benefited from TUPAD program

Camarines Norte Rep. Josie Tallado announced that 189 workers in Paracale have benefited from the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program of the government.

“Patuloy si Congresswoman Josie Baning Tallado sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa DOLE para sa implementasyon ng TUPAD sa kanyang nasasakupang Distrito upang mas makatulong pa sa mga nangangailangan sa panahon ngayon ng COVID-19 pandemic,” the solon’s office said.

TUPAD is a community-based package of assistance of the Labor department that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed and seasonal workers, for a minimum period of 10 days, but not to exceed a maximum of 30 days.

Tallado said that P1,899,450 has been allocated for the beneficiaries in Paracale.

“Kabuuang 189 mula sa iba’t ibang barangay ng nasabing bayan ang nagsimula nang magkaroon ng pansamantalang trabaho sa pamamagitan ng “community service work” sa loob ng 30 araw kasama na rito ang kanilang gagamiting personal protective equipment (PPE),” her office said.

“Makakatanggap ng P9,300 sahod kapalit ng kanilang isang buwang pagtratrabaho sa nasabing proyekto ang kada isang benipisyaryo (P310 pesos x 30 days = P9,300),” the office said.
